Here’s another Star Wars-themed hat pattern inspired by the upcoming movie. This quick knit is a perfect gift for any Star Wars fan and features X-Wings, AT-ATs, and (pre-exploded) Death Stars!

This pattern suggests Comfy Sport from Knit Picks, though any sport weight that obtains gauge will do.

This pattern has only been tested by me. If you have questions, concerns, errors, etc. don’t hesitate to leave a comment or send me a message on Ravelry!

I always love seeing completed projects, so leave a comment here or share your project on Ravelry! There were so many fun projects from The Force Awakens Hat last year with all sorts of colors and modifications. That was awesome!

Happy knitting!

Mrs. L

Note: I only used one 50g skein per color on this hat, with generous amounts left over on the grey and navy.

UPDATE: I’ve created a letter chart for those who want “ROGUE ONE” on the hat. You can get it here.

    Hi
Is there a graph for the rogue one writing ??

    • Mrs. Luedeke

Excellent question! I do not currently have a chart for the letters, but I am reaching out to the person who’s photo is featured on the Ravelry pattern page with the letters. If she is unable to provide the chart, I will write something up! Send me a message on Ravelry or an email if you’d like me to contact you back when I have something for you!

I’ve created a separate chart for the lettering. You can find it here.

  • Loved your Force Awakens hat that I made last winter. My grandson will love this Rogue One for sure. Can’t find a site to download the pattern. Did get the letter grid though. Appreciate your fine knitting abilities!

Hi Karen! There should be a bright green download button right above the comments on this page 😊

Hi there, I cannot wait to get started! Regarding the ROGUE ONE chart; at what point should I put it in during the pattern instructions?
    Thanks,
    Jessica

      Hi Jessica!

I don’t have a specific recommendation for where to put the lettering, but here are the projects completed on Ravelry so far, where several people have included the lettering in different places. Hopefully that will help you decide!
